Has anyone ever seen a smocked outfit on a dog? There's plenty of materials and looks for our four-legged friends other than smocked material. It is a huge business! Does that make it any less silly? For me, no. But what's the harm? It looks like a lot of fun, and of course silliness can be a big part of fun. Meanwhile back here on earth we're discussing smocked clothes for kids. For a puppy theme, two new outfits from Maison de Belles Choses spring to mind and onto my lap. The Claire and Charlie Dog Smocked Bishop Dress and Boys Longall. The Bishop Dress is pink with a trio of cute puppies playing with dark pink balls. The dress is made with soft light corduroy. For the boys, the Puppy Dog Longall is a light blue corduroy. The puppies in this version have yellow balls.
Anavini Velani offers a striking Boys Red Smocked Dalmation Longall. Three dalmations are obediently sitting on the front, and the bottom borderlines are beautifully done as are the top. With a white shirt, collared or turtlenecked for those brisk autumn days, the ensemble could easily be the coolest boys outfit out there.
