Flag John Johns and other Smocked Clothing for Summer

Summer is here. Pools have opened up, and while we really haven't seen the heat that we will later on, it makes sense to start the preparations.

'Round these parts, that means getting the right smocked gear set out for the little ones. How do I find the favorites? Let's start with one by Little English.

The Little English American Flag John John boasts three U.S. flags in the front, with wavy red banners and blue stars bordering a light-blue gingham. Perfect for Fourth-of-July activities. Fully lined on the inside and buttons attaching the top. A girl's matching short set is available also. Revolutionary!

Baseball, hot dogs, and Mom's Apple Pie. Of these three quintessentially American icons, which one belongson any form of smocked clothing? If you guessed Hot Dogs, strike one! If you thought Mom's Apple Pie, you were sort of correct in the sense that a lot of apple pie ends up on kid's clothes, but mostly by accident. If you tried again with Baseball, you hit it out of the Park! The Little English Baseball Smocked John John musters up some balls and bats, set on red seersucker with horizontal stripes. As with the flag john john, it is fully lined and features buttons on the shoulder.

Most golf fanatics would tells you that there is no wrong time to be playing golf, except perhaps in a driving snowstorm. That may be so, but I would stick with wearing this in the summer when it's nice out. What is it? The Funtasia Too Golf Embroidered Shortall. Golf Bags are delicately embroidered onto blue seersucker for an attractive looking design.
